Overview

A product for teams that live in the field.

SiteOptix is a mobile-first application for field operators and property teams to capture site conditions, document issues, attach photos, record notes, assign risk levels, and sync observations back into a structured project or asset record.

We approached SiteOptix as a real operational product, not a form-filler — focusing on calm screens, fast capture, and records that downstream teams can actually use without cleanup.

The problem

Field evidence was scattered, inconsistent, and slow to act on.

Disconnected evidence

Photos, notes, and observations lived in messaging apps and personal galleries with no link to the asset or project they belonged to.

Inconsistent inspections

Different field operators captured different details, so reports were hard to compare and follow-up actions were easy to miss.

Slow path to action

Turning field evidence into prioritized work took hours of cleanup before anyone could plan next steps.

The product approach

Structured capture, decision-ready records, and reliable sync.

Structured field capture

A guided flow for capturing photos, notes, measurements, location, and asset context together — not as separate files.

Risk and action tagging

Observations carry a risk level and recommended action, so each entry is decision-ready as soon as it’s recorded.

Asset-linked history

Every record syncs back to the right property, project, or asset so inspection history stays searchable over time.

Reliable offline-first sync

Field teams work without network and the app reconciles data once back online, with conflict-safe sync rules.

Outcomes

The kind of impact this product is designed for.

Faster inspection turnaround

Operators finish on-site capture in one pass instead of stitching photos, notes, and forms together afterward.

Cleaner reporting

Reports are generated from structured records, not free-form messages, so reviewers spend time on decisions instead of data cleanup.

Better history over time

Because every record is linked to an asset, the product builds a real operational history that supports planning and audits.
